Oxygen Generators

Oxygen generation using OXYMAT series is a safety stand-alone system of oxygen supply to hospitals and other facilities. It is portable, energy-saving and easy to maintain.

OXYMAT Oxygen Generators include blocks to generate oxygen using PSA principle.

Capacity (depending on the model): 10 - 5000 l/min.
Outlet pressure: 4-5 bar.

Using OXYMAT makes it almost unnecessary to reserve oxygen cylinders or liquid oxygen and you have no longer to rely on external oxygen suppliers.

OXYMAT stand-alone system of oxygen generation satisfies all oxygen demands of the hospital, or other consumer.

There is a wide range of OXYMAT generator models which allows to select generator capacity for each customer individually.  Maximum oxygen concentration is 95+/-1%. The rest consists of inert gases and residual nitrogen.

Depending on the oxygen demand, one may combine a system that will have the most efficient oxygen supply with a minimal cost of the system in whole.

Oxygen generator is equipped with control system that monitors oxygen reserves (oxygen outlet concentration, pressure in oxygen receiver, consumption flow).

The system ensures maximum safety during operation.

OXYMAT Oxygen Generators meet the requirements of the standard ISO 10524-1 Pressure regulators for use with medical gases. It saves a consumer from expensive modification of the system in future in order to meet safety requirements and correspond to the standards.

How oxygen is generated by PSA technology

PSA (Pressure Swing Absorption) principle is used for separation of atmospheric air, where the un-requested molecules are being adsorbed in the pressurization phase and desorbed in the exhaust phase.
To ensure continuous production, two absorbers working in alternate operation are used.
Filtered and dry compressed air is blown through a valve to the vessel where the pressure is built to reach 5 to 7 bar(g). N2 is tied to a molecular sieve during the building of pressure, and the O2 is allowed to pass through to the surge tank.
While pressure is build in on vessel, the second remains without pressure.
A part of the produced gas is used for regeneration of the molecular sieve. For Oxygen generation, Zeolite absorbent is used. The molecular sieve is fully regenerative and has a lifetime cycle of 10 years of generator operation.
